HEIFERS with calves at-foot made up to $3800 at Monday's annual Mount Gambier combined agents female sale - $1400 up on the top mark at the 2020 female sale.

The top price for pregnancy-tested in-calf females was also significantly higher at $2900, compared with $2380 in last year.
A packed gallery turned out to see 123 F1 females with CAF sell to $3500, and nine PTIC F1 females sell to $2500.
"After Friday's store sale where steers averaged $1700 and heifers $1500, buyers came here today with money in their pockets," Miller Whan & John's Scott Miller said.
"To spend $2500 and up to $3800 isn't much money at all for black heifers with black calves, considering you'll have them for the next 10 years or so. It was all pretty cheap considering your trade in on Friday."
The top money of the sale was paid by Miller Whan & John Mount Gambier for a draft of 10 Angus heifers with 10 Angus CAF from The Dale.
O'Connor & Graney, Mount Gambier bought The Dale's second draft of 10 Angus heifers with 10 Angus CAF at $3400.
Chadwick Pastoral sold 14 Angus heifers with 14 Pathfinder-blood Angus CAF at $3500, while Rywill sold two Angus-cross heifers with two Speckle Park CAF to O'Connor & Graney for $3150.
Mac Park sold two Angus heifers with two Angus CAF at $3250 to Miller Whan & John.
D Phillips, Yahl, sold 11 Angus-Friesian heifers with 11 Limousin-cross CAF at $3500 through Miller Whan & John to Elders Heywood.

TL Sneath, Port Macdonnell, sold seven Angus-Friesian heifers with seven Angus-cross CAF at $3500 to Miller Whan & John. Their draft of five Murray Grey-Friesian second-calvers with five Angus-cross CAF sold for $2920 to Ian Flett, Creek Livestock.
M Phillips, Mount Gambier, sold seven Angus-Friesian heifers with seven Limousin-cross CAF at $3350 to Miller Whan & John Mount Gambier, while a second draft of seven heifers with seven CAF sold at $3150 to Nutrien Livestock Millicent.
TW&CJ Schulz, Wandilo, sold eight Angus-Friesian heifers with eight Limousin CAF at $2950 to Creek Livestock, with a second draft of eight selling to O'Connor & Graney at $2800.
Ten of their Hereford-Friesian heifers with 10 Limousin CAF sold to Miller Whan & John account Kaiser at $3100, and a draft of their Murray Grey-Friesian heifers with eight Limousin CAF sold to Elders Heywood at $3180. The 34 F1 females with CAF averaged $3013.
JDR Grazing had a draft of nine Angus-Friesian heifers with 15 Caladenia-bld Limousin-cross CAF make $3100 to Miller Whan & John, with a second draft selling to Elders Keith at $3150.
JL Telford sold six Angus-Hereford heifers with six Angus-Limousin CAF to I Johnston at $3000, while a second draft made $3050.
Three Hereford-Charolais heifers with three Angus-cross CAF from Rowley made $2950 to John Rogers.
PTIC females topped at $2900 for eight Angus third-calvers, PTIC to Angus bulls and due to calve mid-March, from C Davies, which were bought by O'Connor & Graney. They also bought the second draft at $2700.
Reg Edwards, Mount Schank, sold 36 Hereford fourth-calvers, PTIC to Bendulla Hereford bulls, to a top of $2750, averaging $2641.
