The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) is coordinating fodder relief for farmers affected by bushfires in Gippsland and the Upper Murray.

VFF President David Jochinke said work was underway to get fodder to livestock immediately and throughout the recovery stage.
"It is very difficult to access much of the fire zone at the moment but the VFF is working with other agencies such as Agriculture Victoria, local government authorities and organisations such as Lions Clubs to get fodder to where it is needed," he said.
"The VFF has secured an agreement with the Victorian Government to facilitate the transport of fodder to affected regions.
"This includes reimbursement of freight costs for transport of donated fodder with specific details to be released soon."
Mr Jochinke said it was important that farmers and landowners with fodder to donate or land for agistment should contact the VFF as soon as possible.
"Anyone with good quality fodder to donate should contact the VFF on 1300 882 833 to register."
"In addition to donated fodder, the VFF also wants to know if landholders have paddocks available to agist livestock, or if anyone is able to provide transport for fodder and stock."
Mr Jochinke said farmers who are in need of fodder or agistment should also contact the VFF as soon as possible.
"All farmers who have been impacted by these fires are strongly urged to seek help by contacting the VFF right away."
"The VFF is also able to put farmers in touch with other services to help support them with immediate needs and further recovery."
