Wangaratta cattle quality lifts and takes prices higher

WEANER WINNERS: Graham and Pam Norman, Wangaratta, topped the weaned section of Friday's Wangaratta grown steer and spring weaner sale with their 360kg Banquet-blood steers, which sold for $1270 a head or 353 cents a kilogram.

Prices were higher at Wangaratta's grown steer and spring weaner sale, even better than those at Barnawartha the day before, and they needed to be.
