Offered as a whole or in six lots arranged largely along a seventeen kilometre stretch of the Wangaratta to Yarrawonga regional road the holdings are judged as premium cropping land in a tightly held and accessible district.
Accumulated over more than a century, all blocks having road frontages, most to the main regional road, the six properties extend from the most northerly (known as ‘Bundalong’ with an area of 440 acres or 178 ha) to the most southerly (known as ‘Pizzinis’ with an area of 282 acres or 114 ha). One allotment in the aggregation known as ‘Camerons’ with a combined area of 585 acres or 236 ha, has several usable farm buildings including cattle and sheep yards and a hay shed.
The ‘Naughtins’ block (of 299 acres or 121 ha) also has a hay shed and a 250 tonne capacity grain shed, a shearing shed and yards with power connected.
The Elders Wangaratta based agent says he expects the offer to attract significant interest, and realise at least $13 million in total based on local farm averages and the uniqueness factor.
